As a Midlands based internet marketing company, we work with a variety of business across the region and help them to achieve their potential by maximising their Internet exposure.
We work across all types of industry and here is an example of recent work on Search Engine Optimisation for a manufacturing business.
Manufacturing companies often ask us to explain how an effective web presence can help them to achieve more exports. Here's an example of one of our clients, a Shropshire based design and manufacturing company, exporting products worldwide.
Eagle Engineering design and manufacture plating barrels. Our original brief was to create a website to support Hanover Messe 2009, a leading international exhibition, so that stand visitors would have a good point of reference after the event. We also wanted to help the clients to promote their business to a wider audience, so we researched to identify the 10 best keyword phrases which would bring targeted traffic to the website. Having agreed these, we worked with the client on design and content, before building a new, optimised, website www.platingbarrels.com which was launched in April 2009.
Within 6 weeks of launch, the website achieved top position on google.com and .co.uk for 8 out of 10 keyword phrases, and has maintained or improved on that position consistently since then.
For Eagle Engineering exports are a key driver in their search for growth and Simon Nixon, the MD of Eagle, had an instinct that the way to increase his home and export business was to use the internet as part of his marketing strategy.
Eagle Engineering now receives enquiries and orders for plating barrels from all around the world, via the website.
A website gives you an international presence to support your efforts to grow your business and Eagle Engineering have now added web content translated into German to aid their growth in that market. As Simon says, “The website which WSI built, has made a significant contribution to our growth over the last 10 months and we are now receiving enquiries from around the world.”
